Foundation Program in Artificial Intelligence

 

Program Description:


The Foundation Program in Artificial Intelligence is a six-week training program that aims to provide participants with basic knowledge in artificial intelligence through a combination of theoretical lectures and practical applications. The program covers topics such as basic AI concepts, machine learning techniques, data, generative AI applications, AI agent tools, and the ethics of using these technologies. The program is delivered in collaboration with experts from King Saud University and global technology organizations.

 

Program Objectives:

Introduce participants to the basic concepts of artificial intelligence and its various applications. Explain the relationship between data and AI techniques through practical examples. Empower participants to understand AI applications in daily life and vital sectors. Develop participants' skills in using generative AI tools and AI agents. Raise awareness about the ethical aspects of using artificial intelligence.

Program Features:

The program is held remotely two days a week, during the evenings (5-7 pm). The program includes training lectures and practical projects, most of which are presented in Arabic. Participants will receive a certificate of completion from King Saud University, with the opportunity to earn an additional certificate from IBM upon completion of the program. The program is free as a community initiative by the Intelligence Center to raise awareness of the use of artificial intelligence.

Key topics in the program:

Introduction to artificial intelligence. Data and its role in artificial intelligence. Concepts and tools of generative AI. Concepts and tools of AI agents. Prompt engineering. Ethics of artificial intelligence. An IBM training track with an IBM-accredited certificate upon completion of the requirements.

Training Hours:

Number of training hours provided by the Intelligence Center: 16 training hours. Number of training hours provided by the training track provided by IBM: 16 training hours. Total number of training hours provided in the Foundation Program in Artificial Intelligence: 32 training hours.

Important Notes:

Registration is open until the end of Thursday, June 26, 2025. The program began on Tuesday, July 1, and will continue until mid-August. Program acceptance notification and program details will be sent before July 1. Priority for admission is given to those who register first due to limited seating.
