Center for Advanced Studies in Artificial Intelligence (Thakaa)

The Center for Advanced Studies in Artificial Intelligence (Thakaa) is a research center specializing in the development of artificial intelligence technologies and capacity building. 

It is organizationally affiliated with the University Agency for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research at King Saud University. 

The center aims to support the research and innovation ecosystem in the field of artificial intelligence at the university level and within national sectors by providing research, training, and consulting services 

based on best practices and the latest global standards and technologies.

The center began its work in 1431 AH (2010/2011 CE) and was officially established by University Council Resolution No (15/4/1437 AH) dated (19/5/1437 AH)

making it one of the leading centers contributing to building the knowledge economy in the Kingdom.
